Why and How I Use Foursquare

The Lord has blessed me in abundance, but one thing I lack is a good memory. Maybe as I get older, I’ll have a Benjamin Button-like experience, and it will get sharper - but I’m not banking on it. So I’ve embraced different practices, online and off, to help.

One tool is Foursquare. Now, you may be thinking, “Huh? The stupid check-in website that clogs my Twitter feed and helps out burglars?” Well, yes, but I’m probably not using it the way the other 6 million plus worldwide users do. If you’re not familiar with it (and by now not being familiar with it is like being unfamiliar with Facebook), Foursquare is a semi-social media network that has mapped out virtually every business and point of interest around.
