New Beatles tracks from “LOVE” on iTunes today

Earlier today, The Beatles “LOVE” album was made available on iTunes. The “mash-up” compilation for the Vegas show has been available on disc since 2006, so normally this wouldn’t be a big deal. But alongside the tracks that were previously available are two iTunes Exclusives: “Girl” and “The Fool On the Hill.”

Supposedly, these two weren’t strong enough for the Vegas show or the album to make the cut. But “previously unreleased”? This is the stuff serious Beatles fans like myself can’t get enough of!

Like the other songs from Love, these new tracks contain elements from other Beatles tunes, cleverly mixed in to fit the key and tempo of the core song. After a few listens, below are the new parts I’m hearing. I’ll definitely be on the lookout for more analysis after the new additions have gotten a few more downloads.

Am I missing anything? Got any additions or corrections? Let me know!

About

Hello, hello!
I'm Lance. I'm not a hardcore blogger, but this tumblr lets me forget the box of the 140 character limit of Twitter and the walled garden of Facebook.

I'll frequently post about my faith, my family, music (especially The Beatles), my work, and my love for Kentucky.
